Gothic Lolita

New pictures! For this photo shoot, I was dressed in Gothic Lolita style. As always, my photographer was the amazing Géraldine Vincent. She used a large mirror to achieve some pretty cool effects!

Outfit breakdown: choker from Moi-même-Moitié, dress from Baby, the Stars Shine Bright, headdress from Bodyline, blouse from Fanplusfriend, everything else purchased in local stores

Special thanks go to my photographer, Géraldine Vincent! Additional thanks go to Marc Dupuis for helping us to set everything up, and Karine Goyer for doing my makeup. Wow, these picture posts are turning into a real group effort, aren't they? Thanks, everyone! ^_^

Thanks! And I'm sure you could be a beautiful Gothic Lolita if you wanted. Or if you're worried the style might be too cutesy for you, you could go with Gothic Aristocrat instead. You would look so elegant! <3

:O How does Goth Aristocrat looks like?

Gothic Aristocrat is like a more "grownup" version of Gothic Lolita. Here are two pictures of me wearing Gothic Aristocrat:

Oh, I like, I definitely like. Too bad it's too hard to find clothes like that here...

Wow, for some reason this conversation is making me imagine Yuma and Saya attempting to dress Kyo in Gothic Lolita attire. ^_~

I liked the second and especially liked the last. The mirror didn't look clean enough to me. XD; stuck right out. However, I really like the concept/idea of picture #3, but the smudge/light effect on the mirror sorta disrupted it. The mirrored self looks so plastic like a life-size doll... sort of creepy. :D Love the outfit!

Thanks for the feedback! Yeah, I got a "creepy doll" vibe from some of the reflection shots too. It was fun. :)

The mirror 'smoothed' out any natural imperfections in your face. On the close-up, like the double-face while lying down one, we can see why since your reflection is a bit fuzzy. But on the standing one, touching the surface, it makes your face appear flawless, hence the 'doll' vibe. :3

Happy to give feedback! ♥ You're a great model. Very patient. XD
