Sailor Lolita

Summer is finally here! To match the bright sky and fluffy clouds, I wore my blue and white Sailor Lolita outfit. As always, my photographer was the fantastic Géraldine Vincent.

Preview:

Outfit breakdown: parasol and socks from Metamorphose; hat, dress, and purse from Fanplusfriend; everything else purchased in local stores

Special thanks go to my photographer, Géraldine Vincent!

Cute! I like the color but I'm not really fond of the horizontal stripes on the socks. XD You reminded me of a hostess actually. I think it's the hat.

My favorites are #2 and #3. Close-ups generally look really good with you in the right lighting, makeup, and pose. :) I'm not sure why exactly I like #3... maybe it's the sense of space and the movement? The walkway's kind of caging the space, but it adds nice flow.

#1 I like how it's cropped. :)

I think #4 would have looked better in a distance shot like #1. While I like the concept of the last one, your pose looks stiff and a bit awkward. Were you afraid of falling off the wall?

Cool, thanks! I really appreciate how you always take the time to write such detailed feedback! And yeah, I was afraid of falling off the wall in the last one. In fact, I really did fall into a water fountain once, although thankfully I wasn't wearing Lolita at the time, LOL. Thanks again! ^_^

'Tis my specialty. I just hope I'm not flapping my lips. I've got a knack at critiquing so... XD It's no biggie to be detailed. :)

XD I think if the pose was on a different short wall not connected to a long drop that pose would look awesome. Think aggressively cute. ♥

It's really no problem. I get to see such an awesome array of fashion styles and photography with a model. It's not my forte you see, so I find it very fascinating. :D

Re: Sailor
Hello! Yes, I remember you. :)

I fit into their Lady Size USA 8, so I didn't order a custom size. But it should be okay, as long as you're very precise with all the measurements, colors, and materials you want. Also, the Sailor dress has both shirring and lacing in the back, so it can be stretched or tightened if you need it. Good luck, and happy shopping! ^_^
